SEND
At Tuel lane, we are very proud of our inclusive and nurturing provision for all children, but particularly those children with additional learning needs. Our dedicated team works hard to bring out the best in every child, regardless of their starting points for learning. We work very closely with a wide variety of external agencies to support our children with additional needs.
Inclusivity is so important for our provision. However, that doesn't always mean that children's learning and progress is best facilitated in the mainstream classroom exclusively. We are incredibly proud to have launch our 'Butterflies' provision in September 2024, which includes 'The Cocoon' - a specialist sensory provision, particularly aimed at children with a range of neuro-diverse conditions, as well as complex additional needs. If you would like to find out more about this provision, including how it supports our children, please do not hesitate to arrange a visit.
Our SEND co-ordinator is Mrs Richmal Hanson.
